Course/Project Requests

Independent and Field Study Information
Students who have established superior academics records and who wish to study more in depth than what is provided in regular courses may register for independent study with a faculty advisor. Permission of the instructor and the department is required. Submit a proposal using the Online Independent and Field Study Form .

Taking Classes at other Northwestern Schools
Students in the Full-Time MBA program may enroll in up to one credit of non-Kellogg Northwestern classes per quarter.

Request Enrollment in a Course Offered by the Evening & Weekend MBA Program
As of Fall 2015, Full-Time Program students no longer need to submit a paper request to add Evening & Weekend Program class to your schedule. If a student is interested in taking a Chicago campus class, designated as a section 71 or 76, this class can be added to their schedule during an Add/Drop phase, if seats are still available. Due to system limitations, wait listing for these sections is not an option.

Student Project Opportunities
Find corporate and nonprofit organization projects available to students throughout the academic year by searching the Kellogg Job Board, (Company Search = Kellogg Experiential Learning).
